Delaney Gibson, who's stage name is Carol-Delaney, has been in the entertainment world since she was a child. Her mother, Penny Gibson, was Michigan's first female and black radio producer, and her father, Delaney's grandfather, was a prominent jazz drummer- Panama Francis. She began dance class at the age of three, where she quickly excelled. At 6 years old, she began dancing at Broadway Dance Center, where she went on to train with notable choreographers such as Mia Michaels, Twitch, Savion Glover, the Hines Brothers, and Laurie Anne Gibson. She has performed with the Rockettes, the Macy's Day Parade, and at The Apollo Theater.
At the age of 13, after being accepted into Manhattans Public Performing Art School, and landing a touring role with Miley Cyrus, she was hit by a car. Obviously, this halted her dance career. She temporarily changed her concentration to technical theater. By the age of 16, Delaney was working with Bergen County's only union theater, Garage Theater Group, and on Fringe Festival productions. She went on the work with The New 42nd Street Studios, Joseph Papp Public Theater, and more. Her credits include stage manager, props designer, light designer, board op, technical director, stage crew, and sound crew. As of 2024, Delaney is stage managing a production of The Jamaican, produced by Bomba Fire Productions. She has worked on over 40 theatrical productions to day.

Obscene Music Promotions then became Obscene Entertainment Promotions, and finally Obscene Productions.
While growing and evolving, Delaney began to take her promotions and marketing job seriously, cornering the market with aggressive guerrilla marketing campaigns. Having spent years selling comedy tickets, and promoting in Times Square, she attributes much of her in person engagement skills to the rappers and comedians in Times Square, who showed her how to really deal with people. Making her adult debut in Times Square in 2013, selling comedy tickets, by 2018, Delaney was known as the promoter in Time Square and danced all the time! Her clients saw amazing results, often having patrons come into their establishment and tell them that Delaney, specifically, directed them to their event and/or establishment.
She has worked throughout the state of New Jersey, New York, Detroit, Chicago, and Philadelphia.
